The day you lose someone who you loved dearly is the day your life changes. Although our life goes on, it is never the same. There is a void in our heart which time can sometimes never quite heal. In my role as a Bridal Hair Stylist, I saw so many brides who had to walk down the aisle without their Dad, or face the day without their Mum, which led me to this unique creation.
For any brides who long for their Dad or Mum to walk them down the aisle, I can create an embroidered photograph of your loved one(s) so it can be stitched to the under-netting of your dress, or for any grooms, you can have that special someone stitched to the lining of your jacket so they can be standing with you. If you wanted to share this keepsake with your wedding guests, then make the lost loved one part of your top table with a framed embroidered photograph which is mounted on a backing matched to your colour scheme.
It was with the weddings I did that got me thinking of this creation, however this service can be for anyone who has lost someone and wants a unique keepsake of them. The image comes with a choice of frame unless you want to provide a specific frame. If you opt for the image to be stitched to the dress or jacket then Josephines’ after care service will mount it into a frame of your choice after your wedding.
Small image from £100
Large Image from £150

Please note that a lot of work goes into producing an embroidered image. For a photograph on average there could be 32000 stitches! Plus all photographs need to be edited and enhanced in order to improve the sharpness and clarity. It is requested that as many pictures as you can find are to be provided as not all photographs will be high enough quality for the software to detect. All pictures are then scanned and looked at individually. The software is used on every picture to see which one works the best. All of this takes time. So these prices are not just randomly picked, they are based on labour, material, digitalising and the overall time it takes.
Due to the bespoke a nature of this work it is better to make contact with me to discuss your requirements in order to see whether I can create what you want, deposits and payments can then be arranged afterwards.
